I think I hyped this up in my mind more than I should have. I went out and bought a special mason jar for it. I described it to my mom in all it’s glory. I actually spent more time at the grocery store and the dollar store getting stuff for it than I did actually making the product. Well, I didn’t actually only get ingredients and a jar for the scrub. LOL
The setup was pretty easy. I almost had all the ingredients already. I really only needed the coconut oil but I was on a spending spree for stuff. I sit here totally up the ingredients for the product (also dividing because I didn’t use up all those ingredients which will be used in another item). The mason jar full only cost maybe $1.50 – $2.00. I imagine the amount in that jar will last quite a while.
I went onto google and looked up “Peppermint Sugar Scrub” . From what I can tell, the lowest price is $4.00 from an Etsy shop. Add on shipping and that price starts to climb.
For those of you like myself who don’t know how to use a Sugar Scrub, I even looked up how to use them.
It’s pretty easy. While, I didn’t do this, you should wash your face or wherever you intend to use the scrub with soap or body wash and rinse it well. Then you smear a enough of the sugar scrub on your wet skin to cover the area. Next, massage in a circular motion to allow the granules to remove dead skin cells. Finally, rinse off well.
